Our Precious Bobbee

It is with deep sadness and a flow of tears that I bring you an update on Bobbee.

After being home a couple of weeks, following all the vets instructions and doing really well, Bobbee became very sick again, and was rushed back into animal hospital.

He was in for 3 more days, and appeared to be getting well, then I received a call from the vet to say that Bobbee has taken a turn for worse and that they thought he wouldn’t make it.

I immediately went down to visit him and to see the vet and discuss his case. Bobbee our Precious, Precious boy was dying.  He was in so much pain, even with medication, when I saw him, I knew it was time to show my boy the ultimate in love.  You know he tried so much to get up and greet me, but his strength was not there.  I cradled him in my arms and told him how much we loved him, how much he meant to us, and thanked him for being part of our lives.  He licked my face, I kissed him, nodded to the vet and sang to him, looking into his eyes as he quietly drifted off over the Rainbow Bridge to join Winston and Amydog (Other dogs we have had in our lives) and wait for us.
