Potty Training Kids

September 15, 2009

Ok, Ok, I have heard you!! I will do a few posts on Potty Training!

Someone wise said long ago that parenting is one of the greatest arts that a person can learn and master.

There is undoubtedly nothing that pleases a parent more than seeing a happy and healthy infant growing up to be an independent and mature adult. But whatever satisfaction a parent gets to see a happy child, the art of parenting is not that smooth for many. Especially, when potty training kids get tough and simply out of hand.

Yes ask any suffering mom or dad, the kind of frustration and irritation that are going through day in and day out simply because their potty training kids program just does not seem to take off. Either the kid is too stubborn to be taught anything easily or the parents lack patience and the required skills – whichever way you look at it, potty training kids can be irksome, to say it very mildly

Become A Master At Disguises

August 5, 2009

You know I sometimes feel that parents need to go on a Master Class and learn how to become a Master of Disguises.

Meaning Maggie? Meaning at times all toddlers HATE eating healthy food especially veggies and fruit and it becomes all out war between parent and child at mealtimes.

Instead of it being stressful for all concerned, if you stay one step ahead of your toddler and disguise veggies and fruit in the food they do like, everyone wins. Let’s face it, when a toddler says NO – they mean No! haha.

So here are some suggestions.

How you can tell your Toddler is constipated?

Symptoms of toddler constipation may include infrequent bowel movements i.e. going 3-4 days between bowel movements, hard stools, straining during bowel movements, and some toddlers will try to stop a bowel movement from happening because it hurts so much.
